The 2006 Winter Olympic events of skeleton, bobsleigh and luge will be held at the venue Cesana Pariol in the town of Cesana Torinese, which is approximately 90 km (56 mi) from Turin. The facilities have been designed with extensive safety features, and will remain in operation once the Games are finished.
